Welcome to AstroChat, your personal astrology consultation platform. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the AstroChat website, mobile application, services, content, and membership features.

By accessing or using AstroChat, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not access or use the Site/App.

These Terms may be updated or modified by us from time to time. Your continued use of AstroChat after any changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1. General Description

AstroChat provides astrology-related content, reports, information, horoscope services, consultations, and other related features through its website, mobile applications, and other electronic platforms (collectively referred to as the "Services").

AstroChat may provide both free and paid services. Certain Services may be provided directly by AstroChat or through independent third-party service providers, including astrologers.

To access certain Services, you may be required to create an account and provide accurate registration information.

2. Registration and Account

By registering with AstroChat, you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information as requested by the Site/App.

Registration may require information such as your mobile number, email address, first name, last name, date and time of birth, place of birth, and other information necessary for providing astrology services.

Date and time of birth may be optional during registration but may be required for certain astrology calculations, horoscope reports, or consultations.

• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• You must update your information when necessary.
• You must not impersonate another person.
• You must not use another person's account.
• You may not maintain multiple active accounts without our permission.

AstroChat reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account if registration information is found to be false, inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law to use AstroChat.

You may ask astrology-related questions concerning minors in your family, provided that you have the appropriate authority to provide the information required for such services.

You represent that you have the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms and that no applicable law, court order, or other legal restriction prevents you from using the Services.

4. Account Security

Your AstroChat account is personal to you and may not be transferred to another person.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities performed through your account.

If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, you must notify AstroChat as soon as reasonably possible.

5. Communication Consent

By using AstroChat, you consent to receiving service-related communications through channels such as app notifications, email, SMS, WhatsApp, and telephone calls.

Communications may include account verification, service updates, transaction notifications, customer support, consultation-related communications, and other communications reasonably related to your use of AstroChat.

Where legally permitted and where applicable consent has been obtained, communications may be made through different communication channels, including voice calls, WhatsApp Business Messages, SMS, or other electronic communication methods.

6. Chat, Voice and Video with Astrologers

AstroChat may provide communication services allowing users to interact with astrologers through chat, voice calls, or video calls.

The availability, duration, pricing, and communication method may vary depending on the astrologer and Service selected.

First Free Chat/Call

AstroChat may offer eligible users an introductory free chat or call, subject to the promotional terms displayed in the application.

Unless otherwise stated in the applicable offer, the introductory session may be limited to a maximum duration of 2 minutes.

AstroChat reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw promotional offers at any time, subject to applicable law.

7. Astrology Content and Services

Astrology consultations, horoscope interpretations, reports, predictions, recommendations, and related content are based on astrological systems, interpretations, experience, and individual opinions of astrologers or other service providers.

Astrology services are provided for informational and entertainment purposes and should not be treated as a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice.

Users should independently verify and evaluate any recommendation received through AstroChat and consult an appropriately qualified professional where necessary.

AstroChat does not endorse or guarantee the effectiveness or suitability of any gemstone, mantra, yantra, ritual, remedy, product, treatment, or recommendation suggested by an astrologer or third-party provider.

8. User Account Access and Quality Review

AstroChat may access account information and relevant service records where reasonably necessary to provide Services, investigate complaints, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, provide customer support, maintain platform security, or conduct quality reviews.

Such records may include information shared by the User and, where applicable and lawfully collected, chat, voice, or consultation history.

Where a refund or quality complaint requires review, AstroChat may review relevant service records in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law.

9. User Obligations

You agree to use AstroChat only for lawful and personal purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

• Post false, misleading, defamatory, threatening, abusive, or harassing content.
• Promote hatred, discrimination, violence, or illegal activities.
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights.
• Upload viruses, malware, corrupted files, or harmful software.
• Attempt unauthorized access to AstroChat systems or networks.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Site/App.
• Collect other users' information for spam or unauthorized solicitation.
• Send unsolicited promotional communications.
• Reverse engineer, modify, copy, or redistribute AstroChat software.
• Resell or commercially exploit AstroChat Services without written authorization.
• Use another person's account or identity.
• Engage in conduct that violates applicable laws.

10. Inappropriate and Sexual Content

AstroChat does not permit content involving pornography, sexual exploitation, sexually explicit material, or content intended primarily for sexual gratification.

Examples include:

• Sexually explicit images, videos, or descriptions.
• Sexual exploitation or non-consensual sexual content.
• Sexual threats, blackmail, or harassment.
• Promotion of escort or sexual services.
• Content involving sexual abuse or exploitation of minors.
• Sexual deepfakes or non-consensual intimate imagery.

Accounts or content violating these standards may be removed and accounts may be suspended or terminated.

11. Hate Speech

AstroChat does not permit content that promotes violence, hatred, discrimination, or dehumanization against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.

• Hateful slurs or stereotypes.
• Promotion of violence against protected groups.
• Content claiming a protected group is inferior or deserving of harm.
• Promotion of extremist or hate-group symbols or activities.

12. Violence and Dangerous Activities

Content that promotes or encourages serious violence, self-harm, suicide, dangerous activities, or threats against people or animals is prohibited.

Content encouraging the manufacture or use of illegal weapons, explosives, or other dangerous materials is also prohibited.

13. Terrorist and Dangerous Organizations

AstroChat does not permit content that promotes, recruits for, celebrates, or glorifies terrorist organizations or acts of terrorism.

Content supporting violent organizations or encouraging violence against civilians may be removed and may be reported to relevant authorities where required by law.

14. Black Magic, Witchcraft and Related Practices

AstroChat does not permit the promotion or facilitation of black magic, witchcraft, voodoo, tantrism, or related occult practices where such content is prohibited under applicable platform rules or laws.

AstroChat may suspend or terminate accounts involved in prohibited activities.

15. Commercial Use

Unless expressly authorized by AstroChat in writing, the Services are intended for personal use.

Users may not resell, reproduce, redistribute, commercially exploit, or otherwise misuse AstroChat Services or content.

16. Delivery, Cancellation and Refund Policy

Wallet Recharge Refunds

Where wallet functionality is available, a refund request for an unused wallet recharge may be considered if:

• The request is submitted within 48 hours of the wallet credit; and
• No portion of the credited amount has been used.

Requests that do not satisfy these conditions may not be eligible for a refund, subject to applicable law.

Where a refund is approved, it may be processed to the original payment instrument and may be subject to applicable transaction, payment gateway, banking, or processing charges where permitted.

Payment Failure or Duplicate Payment

If a payment appears to fail, users should first verify whether the bank account or payment instrument was debited before attempting another payment.

If the account was debited but the wallet or service was not credited, users should contact customer support rather than making another payment.

Verified duplicate payments may be refunded in accordance with the applicable payment provider and refund policy.

Refunds for Consultation Services

Where applicable, a refund or wallet credit may be considered for service-quality issues such as:

• Significant technical problems affecting the consultation.
• The astrologer being unable to communicate in the selected language.
• Unreasonably long response times.
• Irrelevant or inappropriate responses.

Refunds are generally not provided merely because a User disagrees with an astrological prediction or interpretation.

For call services, users are responsible for providing a correct and reachable phone number and answering calls when received.

A successfully connected service may not qualify for a refund solely because the User did not answer or subsequently chose not to continue.

Refund requests may require review of relevant consultation records, subject to applicable law and the AstroChat Privacy Policy.

17. Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their AstroChat account through the account deletion mechanism provided by AstroChat or by contacting customer support.

Account deletion may take up to approximately 7 days to complete, depending on verification, technical, legal, and operational requirements.

Account deletion may be irreversible.

Any unused wallet balance may be subject to the applicable refund policy and applicable law. Users should review the refund terms before requesting account deletion.

18. Suspension and Termination

AstroChat may suspend or terminate access to an account where permitted by law, including where:

• Registration information cannot be verified.
• False or misleading information has been provided.
• The User violates these Terms or the Privacy Policy.
• The User engages in abusive, threatening, or inappropriate conduct.
• The User interferes with the platform or other users.
• The User violates applicable laws.
• The User creates multiple accounts to abuse promotions or Services.
• The User's activities create legal, security, or operational risk.

Where termination occurs due to a User's violation of these Terms, refunds may be unavailable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

19. Intellectual Property

All AstroChat trademarks, logos, software, designs, graphics, text, photographs, videos, reports, interfaces, and other platform content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except where expressly permitted, users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, publish, sell, license, or create derivative works from AstroChat content.

Third-party content remains the property of its respective owners.

20. Disclaimer

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

AstroChat does not warrant that:

• The Services will always be uninterrupted.
• The Services will always be error-free.
• Astrology information will always be accurate or complete.
• A particular consultation will produce a specific result.
• Any recommendation will be suitable for every User.
• The Site/App will always be available without technical issues.

Astrology services are subjective and results may vary between astrologers and users.

21. Medical, Legal and Financial Disclaimer

Astrology consultations should not be used to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any medical or mental health condition.

Users should consult appropriately qualified professionals for medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional matters.

If you are experiencing an emergency or believe you may be at risk of harming yourself or someone else, contact your local emergency service or an appropriately qualified crisis professional immediately.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AstroChat and its affiliates, employees, officers, agents, partners, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.

AstroChat shall not be responsible for losses arising from:

• Technical failures or service interruptions.
• Unauthorized access to accounts caused by User negligence.
• Third-party services or payment providers.
• Actions or advice of independent astrologers.
• Inaccurate or incomplete information provided by Users.
• Events beyond AstroChat's reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AstroChat's aggregate liability arising from a Service shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the User for the relevant Service, subject to applicable law.

23. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AstroChat, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Services.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of applicable law.
• Your violation of another person's rights.
• Content submitted through your account.

24. User Content

You are responsible for content, information, images, messages, or other material that you submit through AstroChat.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit such content and that it does not violate applicable laws or third-party rights.

25. Third-Party Services

AstroChat may use third-party providers for services such as payment processing, authentication, communication, analytics, hosting, advertising, or other technical functionality.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. AstroChat is not responsible for third-party services to the extent permitted by applicable law.

26. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

For users in India, these Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws of India, subject to applicable consumer protection and other mandatory legal rights.

Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India, subject to applicable law.

For users located outside India, applicable mandatory local laws may apply to the extent required.

27. Updates to These Terms

AstroChat may update, amend, or modify these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with the revised effective or update date.

Users are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.
